Nothing like a little sledging to avoid the contemplation of one’s mortality. Did a full set of sledging in the morning to be different. Warmed up with a set of planks, jumping jacks, and burpees. Didn’t get my starting heart rate as high as Monday (only in the 140s). Normal set, finished in 31:09 which is pretty fast (faster than Monday, anyway) and I had a very good set of HRM numbers: 142 bpm average, 167 max. That’s a new record for my max for sledging, I believe. I did that new high in my final interval where my average was 156 (also a record, I think). That 10-pounder makes it rough. Let’s see if I can do this again Friday to complete the week.
