Quick Sledging!

Did a sledging sprint today — 6 intervals in the normal fashion but I really ramped up the speed and cut the rests to near zero. I finished in 32 minutes not counting the warm up. My normal time for this is 35-40 minutes, and it’s amazing what a difference a couple minutes makes. My HRM says I had an average heart rate of 145 bpm over the full set with a max of 164. My final interval’s average was 152! I also warmed up to 120 bpm to start with a round of planks (1 min each: Front, Left, Right, front again with legs on Swiss ball, no breaks). This is very high intensity for me and barely doable. Let’s see how sore I am tomorrow.
